Cube-Use
This concept is an attempt to partially free the consumer from over-styled every-day products in our households.
After 100 years of vacuum cleaner history, the shape of the Cube-Use device is designed to suit its environment. Its shape is not fighting for attention and does not tell lies about high speed vacuuming. It is calm and retaining. This electrostatic filtering-system is advanced by a discharged second and third filter, which otherwise would need to be resplaced or cleaned more often. This minimizes the power loss, which usually occurs due to blocked filtering systems.
The Cube-Uses elegant form enables to be a subtle piece of decoration in the house, while its technological advancements improve on its functionality as a vacuum cleaner.

Finding of the Jury:
This design deals with the issue of not putting away vacuum cleaners after use. It looks good even when it is not removed and stays, for example, in the corridor. This aspect of ´not hiding´ the product is supported through subtle elements such as the way the hose elegantly hangs down when not in use.
Further investigation is required to solve some of the problems that occur in every day use, such as scraping along the walls and furniture, etc.
