Isnake
Isnake is a new product that combines skateboarding movements with ice-skating.
This new concept of a lifestyle sports utility is for smooth gliding on ice, propelled through a continuous flow of snaking movements. Its use does not require any other special equipment, such as shoes or other accessories. The propulsion is achieved by snakelike movements, which gives the user a more harmonic and adequate way of moving on ice surfaces. The special hooks on the insides of the boards give the rider more grasp, which enables jumps, turns, slides and other tricks. Since it is not attached to the foot, in case of a fall the user can just simply jump off the board without hurting himself/herself.
This new dynamic equipment creates an analogy to the way fish move under the ice, while it takes the sport of skateboarding and skating a step further.

Finding of the Jury:
This is a new product concept that takes skateboarding onto the ice and allows for very interesting movements in a new winter activity. The visual language was perceived as attractive and matches to the topic well.
Further refinement of how to accommodate various foot sizes should be addressed.
