Digital Table
The dining room is one of the central gathering places for tomorrow’s families. The “Digital Table” is able to process handwritten materials via an input device which also serves as a mouse. From the table the user is able to access the internet, tab into the home information center or listen to music or the radio. In addition, the table can be used for healthy food guidance. It serves as a unit that provides the family members with a facility to get information and entertainment. Furthermore, it acts as a communications center when dinning or during leisure time. It is meant to be a central place where families can get together in the future.

Finding of the jury:
Technology serves people. The family’s harmo-ny and unity is always a theme for designers to consider. This design concentrates on one of the hubs for families to get-together. The project places technology into traditional furniture, providing more fun and convenience for the family members’ communication and entertainment. It also helps to improve the family’s time together in day to day life.
