SteadyBass is an instrument designed to explore new tunings in just intonation. By recognizing the art of tuning as a variable rather than a constant, the music played with this instrument can become a powerful energy that can make anyone feel good.
The SteadyBass has four guitar string and four bass strings, allowing a great variety of sounds. It also has a movable bridge that divides the strings into intervals. The pickups are mounted under both ends of the strings, allowing multiple independent string segments. It is equipped with a chorus and a delay sound effect that can be used at the same time.

Finding of the jury:
The SteadyBass can be played in many ways, allowing the user to experiment different techniques and create new sounds. It integrates the concept of two instruments in a innovative proposal. Her it was required a consequent work of design, because the sound depends of the form, the configuration and the materials. Also the natural combination of materials gives identity and a original esthetical character to SteadyBass.
