Mar-C
The function of this wheel chair is to improve quality of life for children with brain paralysis and their parents. The child is conditioned by the severity degree of the disease. In the most serious case, the patient does not have control of him or herself, presenting great difficulty to transport them.
This product gives the infants the freedom of movement that their bodies lack and facilitates the management for their parents, offering them a better control.
Mar-C takes different positions to give an optimum posture through movement nodes controlled from the handle. This chair has an adjustable belt and brakes that prevent the tires from moving, even on a slope, providing total protection.
Mar-C is made of fiber of carbon, which provides a light structure unlike the rest of the commercial chairs. It can be used as a wheel chair and as a car safety seat, besides the possibility of being able to be stored in small spaces, which makes it easier to carry it from one place to another.

Finding of the jury:
The result is a wheel chair of with a character more fresh and pleasant besides providing a functional solution to a specific group of users that require a special attention by the specific conditions that their illness has.
The formal concept was developed very well and has funtional advantages over traditional wheel chairs. The project presentation has a good level, but it requires a better explanation of the proposed systems of movement and control. For the realisation would be required to resolve constructive details.
