  Torbellino
Being the vacuum cleaner a candidate to be of first robots which make workings in the home, robots which they make their work without the manipulation of the man, able to learn and to make decisions; making its work fast and efficient.

The proposal is a small robot that aspires grounds, carpets and rugs automatically. It is a symbiosis of several technologies: "movable robot (able to free obstacles and to generate trajectories) "automaton robot (able to inhale flat surfaces automatically) and
"vacuum cleaner" (manual way)

'Torbellino' is a automaton robot able to inhale rooms without the manipulation of the user. It is able to make decisions that reduce their work. Stores each route to make it more quickly the following times. It has a hose that does not limit the robot to only inhale grounds automatically. The robot allows a manual way to move it towards where it is used and to use the hose.

  Finding of the jury:
The innovation challenge is bigger for the design when the product development has already a place on the market. The designer of this vacuum cleaner shows a daring design, in order to give a better alternative for the clean task. Even though this topic has already many solutions at international level, torbellino makes progress in functional details, i.e., the obstacle recognition, the route definition, and the automatic or manual use. This proposal is innovative and it can be expanded. Our recommendation is to simplify the formal solution, in order to offer a friendly interface for the user.
