Wave - Winner
The function of 'Wave' is to offer a treatment for the people with urinary incontinence, reinforcing the pelvic ground with magnetic impulses, with no need to be transferred to a doctor's office.
There exist other similar products, but they are invasive and generate physical and moral annoyance.
This design proposal with is a product that can be handled with freedom und allows the patient to receive the treatment in his home, with the comfort and confidence, that his ambient offer.
On the other hand some of these treatments are not within reach of all the people. With the design of "Wave" like a household electrical device for a high production it could be obtained from the patients with this illness but without the possibility of acceding to.

Finding of the jury:
This was an important subject because the design provides a big improvement to the quality of life of the patients with this problematic. The jury selected this project because of its overall depth of understanding and the clarity of the designed solution. The concept is an improvement on the existing equipment for this therapy. The harmonious use of forms and friendly colours gives the patients emotional and physical comfort. The functional and visual characteristics are well combined, producing a good piece of industrial design.
